About UsDonald R. Anderson's education includes an Associate of Applied Science in Industrial Supervision, a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice - Theory and Research, and a Master of Public Administration. These degrees were earned from Lamar University in Beaumont and Orange. Mr. Anderson was selected to Who's Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges and Blue Key National Honor Society. He was also selected an "Outstanding Graduate" by the Lamar Faculty and Staff.
Mr. Anderson has served as an adjunct instructor (part time instructor) at Lamar University Orange and Lamar University Port Arthur.
Mr. Anderson was selected to go to Polygraph School while a 24 year old investigative sergeant working in law enforcement. He graduated from Southwest School of Polygraph in 1979 and completed a polygraph internship with a licensed polygraph examiner who was in law enforcement. Mr. Anderson then took and passed the two day 16 hour licensing examination with the Texas State Board of Polygraph Examiners. Mr. Anderson holds Polygraph License Number 610. He has conducted thousands of polygraph examinations. Mr. Anderson received extra training to become a Registered Sex Offender Treatment Provider/Polygraph Examiner. He has hundreds of hours additional training through the Texas Association of Polygraph Examiners (TAPE), Texas Association of Law Enforcement Polygraph Investigators (TALEPI), The American Association of Police Polygraphists (AAPP), and Dick Arthur/Colorado Association of Polygraph Examiners.
Mr. Anderson has conducted polygraph examinations for Police departments, Sheriff's Departments, Texas Rangers, Judges, Child Protective Services, Psychologists, Licensed Professional Counselors, Probation, Parole, School Districts, Numerous Attorneys, Individuals, and many Companies. While in the security field, Mr. Anderson has done business with Equitable Bag, Owens Illinois, Dupont, and Chevron, to name a few.
Mr. Anderson achieved the highest licenses from The Texas Commission on Law Enforcement Officer Standards and Education. He has the Master and Instructor Certificates. He worked in law enforcement 7 years full time and 21 years as either a reserve (Volunteer) police officer or reserve deputy. Mr. Anderson obtained the Arson Investigator and Crime Prevention Inspector Certifications. Mr. Anderson achieved the Certified Protection Professional (CPP)designation through the American Society for Industrial Security (ASIS). Mr. Anderson held the office of Chairman of the Sabine-Neches Chapter of ASIS. He has served on the Board of the Lamar University Regional Police Academy and has been a guest instructor. Mr. Anderson is in the Navy Reserve and has served 20 years.
Mr. Anderson obtained the rank of Captain while in law enforcement. He worked for United States Steel as Investigator and acted as Security Director. He has also owned a security company with 50 employees. The company provided security guards, investigations, and polygraph. Mr. Anderson eventually sold his contracts to CPP/Pinkerton, but continued conducting polygraph examinations. Mr. Anderson has also worked in the field of probation and parole. He has had years of experience with Safety, Risk Management, and Insurance.
Mr. Anderson is active in the community and because of this was selected to Leadership Southeast Texas. He has been elected to the Orange City Council and the Little Cypress-Mauriceville CISD School Board.
